Julia Mehr has a background in psychology and brings in several years of group training expertise. For the university group “Studies without borders” she has already developed a train the trainer concept for the topic of postcolonial theories. As facilitator of organisational development processes in youth and student organisations and member of the founding team of Kiron Open Higher Education gGmbH, she has accumulated various experiences in structuring outcome-oriented team processes in open space formats. Having been part of the Ashoka Wirkungsschmiede Training
programme that is set-up to transform organisations towards increasingly impact-oriented outcomes she has learnt how to set-up sustainable projects.
Ronny Röwert has long experience with facilitating empowerment processes of non-traditional student communities in Germany, ranging from supporting first generation students within the Arbeiterkind e.V. initiative over strengthening the voices of the Global South at the University of Freiburg through the initiative Armutsbekämpfung im Dialog e.V. to guiding study interested refugees to successful university application and study integration with Kiron Open Higher Education gGmbH.
